Stark Bankers Forum Bangladesh

Chief Advisor’s Message

The establishment of The Stark Bankers Forum Bangladesh (SBFB) is not just the birth of an organization—it is the outcome of a revolution born out of pain, injustice, and an unwavering demand for truth.

In July 2024, the nation witnessed a historic uprising against the fascist regime of Hasina. The people—especially brave bankers and financial professionals—rose against decades of exploitation, discrimination, and suppression. It was during this time that the criminal acts of Bank Robber S. Alam and his financial cartel came to light, triggering one of the worst collapses in Bangladesh’s banking history. His unchecked looting, supported by state protection and institutional silence, pushed our financial system toward bankruptcy and stole the future of countless honest citizens.

SBFB was formed in direct response to that collapse. A group of courageous, ethical bankers came together to say: Enough is enough. We could no longer stand by while our profession was hijacked by thieves, and our people were silenced by fear.

Today, SBFB stands as a fearless platform for truth-seekers, whistleblowers, and reformists. We are committed to restoring transparency, protecting the rights of honest professionals, and ensuring that no one—no matter how powerful—can destroy this nation’s financial backbone without consequences.

I invite every moral banker, every voice of conscience, to join us in this fight—not just for justice, but for the soul of our banking system.

In solidarity and truth,
Chief Advisor
Md. Nazrul Islam
